Join us.<br><br>Job Description<br><br>We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our Construction Supervision team, supporting the delivery of high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will ensure that architectural works are executed in accordance with the contract documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and the approved design intent while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.<br><br>Working closely with the Senior Architect and multidisciplinary supervision team, the Architect will monitor construction activities, review contractor submissions, inspect completed works, and facilitate the successful delivery of architectural packages from commencement through to handover.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>Supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and approved shop drawings. Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of workmanship, materials, finishes, and installation methods. Review and provide technical comments on shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs). Monitor construction progress and identify potential quality or technical issues, providing practical recommendations to maintain project delivery. Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, interior design, landscape, and specialist subcontractors to resolve interface issues. Witness inspections and testing of architectural elements, ensuring compliance with project quality plans and inspection test plans Prepare site observation reports, non-conformance reports, snagging lists, and monitor close-out of outstanding issues. Verify completed works for interim payment applications and provide recommendations to the Resident Engineer. <br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Minimum 7–12 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to construction supervision of high-rise / residential building projects. Correlate and organize information relating to projects and proposal records. Type, copy, distribute, and file project correspondence and meeting minutes. Perform regular site inspections to identify potential environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures. Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering within the construction or infrastructure sectors. Professional certifications such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, LEED AP, or Mostadam Practitioner. Strong knowledge of Saudi environmental regulations, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC). Proficiency in environmental monitoring tools and software, such as GIS, Auto CAD, and Primavera P6. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). Familiarity with international standards such as OSHA, NEBOSH, and ISO 45001.<br><br>Preferred Qualifications<br><br>Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline. Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 giga-projects or similar large-scale initiatives. Expertise in advanced environmental modeling tools and software. Knowledge of Mostadam certification processes and requirements. Previous experience in a multi-national, multi-disciplinary project environment.<br><br>Working Conditions<br><br>Based in Makkah with frequent site visits to construction and infrastructure project locations. Combination of office-based work and on-site environmental monitoring. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory during site visits. Exposure to varying weather conditions typical of the Makkah region. Carry out sampling and witnessing of laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials as per approved ITPs. Ensure materials used for roadworks, bridges, culverts, drainage, and utility works conform to approved specifications and drawings. Monitor storage, handling, and protection of materials to prevent contamination, segregation, or damage. Verify compliance with RTA-approved suppliers, manufacturers, and testing laboratories . Coordinate with the Material Engineer and Site Engineer regarding testing schedules, approvals, and material-related issues. Inspect asphalt paving, concrete works, earthworks, and backfilling to ensure correct materials and workmanship are used. Review and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) related to materials and civil works. Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and material logs for QA/QC and as-built documentation. Identify non-conforming materials, raise NCRs and site observations , and follow up on corrective actions. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements , especially during material handling, sampling, and testing activities.
