The role involves planning, designing, and supervising road construction and earthworks activities, including excavation, backfilling, grading, and compaction, to ensure safe and durable infrastructure. The Civil Engineer will prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements, coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants, and monitor progress against project schedules and budgets. Daily tasks include conducting site inspections, overseeing quality control and testing, managing stormwater drainage and erosion control measures, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company procedures. The engineer will also support project documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of construction processes.<br>Qualifications<br> <br>Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills relevant to road works, earthworks, and infrastructure projects. Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and erosion control for road and earthworks projects. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. Previous experience in GCC construction projects, especially in road and infrastructure works, is an advantage.
