Role Overview The HR Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive support across HR operations, payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, visa and immigration processes, employee relations, and HR administration. The role ensures the effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and compliance requirements while delivering a positive employee experience and supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR function. <br>Key Responsibilities:<br>1. HR Administration & Records Maintain and update employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, databases, and spreadsheets. Respond to employee queries relating to payroll, benefits, allowances, and deductions. Administer employee benefits and contractual entitlements, including flight allowances and other employee benefits. Support the administration of UAE National and GCC National pension schemes and liaise with relevant authorities and service providers. 3. Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures. Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalate complex issues to the HR Manager as appropriate. Support employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events. Assist in employee communications and HR-related awareness initiatives. Build and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, and business leaders across all levels of the organization. 4. Visa, Immigration & Government Relations Support Coordinate employment visa applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations. Liaise with PROs, government authorities, and external service providers regarding immigration and labour matters. Ensure all visa and labour documentation is maintained and processed in a timely manner. Support employees with labour contracts, immigration documentation, and government-related requirements. Track visa expiry dates and ensure compliance with local regulations. Develop and maintain effective relationships with government authorities, PROs, external service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient processing of employee matters. 5. Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including employment documentation, induction schedules, system access requests, and new hire communications. Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and maintained in employee records. Liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new joiners. Support employees during their onboarding period and respond to onboarding-related queries. Coordinate employee exit processes, including resignations, redundancies, terminations, and retirements. Prepare full and final settlement calculations and supporting documentation. Organize exit interviews and document employee feedback. Coordinate employee clearances, company asset returns, visa cancellations, and final payroll processing. Support employees with post-employment requirements, including ILOE-related documentation, employment certificates, and other exit-related requests. <br>Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or similar related field. 3-5 years of experience in an HR Officer / HR Generalist / HR Coordinator role. Good knowledge of HR practices and local labour laws. Experience using HRIS or HR management systems and payroll administration is highly preferred. Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal) preferred.
