We are currently searching for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design Division based in Dubai.<br>The individual must be able to demonstrate minimum 15 years experience of working within an engineering consultancy in UAE (preferably in Dubai) in addition to good experience in providing sustainable design and should have experience in dealing with Dubai authorities (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense, Trakhees, EHS, DDA, etc.).<br>You must have the relevant qualifications, certifications and professional memberships and the capability to provide planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multiple projects in high rise buildings and hospitality.<br>You must also be a holder of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters Degree in Engineering (MEng) and be a member of a recognized professional body (CIBSE, IMech E or ASHRAE).<br>The Role:Detailed design drawings with a specialization in mechanical design (such as HVAC, Public Health & Fire protection system , BMS, irrigation , swimming pool , gas .....). Prepare technical specifications and schedules and design development reports. Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables. Coordinating his/her work with other members of the project team. Work closely with and monitor performance of Engineers (as appropriate). Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget. Keep senior design team members informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the SSH Design and the client are achieved. Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs. Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities. Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required.<br>Essential Experience:Minimum 15 years experience gained within an engineering consultancy. Proven track record of project design through concept to detailed. Experience in general MEP design software’s such as HAP software, Revit, Auto Cad. Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical (MEP) to join their project team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-rise building construction with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring all MEP works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and local authority regulations. The role requires close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, project teams, and clients to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.<br>Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Quality Control Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Conduct routine inspections of electrical and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards. Monitor site activities to ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements. Coordinate and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) with consultants. Prepare Level 3 / Level 4 schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
