Overview<br><br>He is the first point of contact for all IT related queries at the user level for Dixstone employees based or in rotation in UAE. Responding to user needs in a timely manner and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties. With a great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail, he is responsible for maintaining the integrity of end user devices and associated software. He has thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. His main working office is at DAFZA at Dubai, and he must be able to move between the offices and the yards where the Dixstone staff are working when required. Depending to the nature of the need, he will intervene on Dixstone assets in UAE. He is under Dixstone IT Manager responsibility technically.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br> To provide support to users and being the first point of contact. To install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. To set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices. To installing and configure corporate software and functions according to specifications. To conduct regular system backups and data recovery in case of system failures. To troubleshoot hardware and software issues. To repair or replace damaged hardware. To perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
