The ideal candidate ensures structural stability, minimizes material wastage, and maintains premium aesthetic quality. </p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Technical & Shop Drawings</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Review drawings:</strong> Analyze architectural layouts to ensure stone patterns and joints align with design intent.</p></li><li><p><strong>Create cutting lists:</strong> Translate final site dimensions into exact production layouts to optimize slab usage.</p></li><li><p><strong>Coordinate details:</strong> Resolve structural anchoring details for heavy mechanical stone cladding systems.</p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Factory & Site Operations</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Manage installation:</strong> Supervise site teams installing premium marble flooring, wall cladding, and countertops.</p></li><li><p><strong>Oversee dry-lays:</strong> Coordinate factory floor layouts to inspect vein matching and color tone before site delivery.</p></li><li><p><strong>Enforce fixing methods:</strong> Direct dry mechanical fixing, wet mortar applications, and chemical adhesive bonding. </p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Quality & Quantity Control</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Inspect material:</strong> Approve incoming raw slabs, checking for structural fissures, natural defects, and finishes.</p></li><li><p><strong>Track quantities:</strong> Conduct precise material take-offs and manage bills of quantities (BOQ) to control costs.</p></li><li><p><strong>Rectify defects:</strong> Manage on-site stone restoration, including polishing, grouting, and repairing transit damages. </p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high-end stone, marble, or interior fit-out projects.</p></li><li><p><strong>Software:</strong> Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with MS Excel for quantity estimations.</p></li><li><p><strong>Skills:</strong> Deep knowledge of natural stone grading, physical properties, and installation techniques.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p> <strong>Technical Expertise & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.</p></li><li><p><strong>Industry Experience:</strong> Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated experience handling marble, granite, and high-end natural stone works.</p></li><li><p><strong>Technical Drawing:</strong> Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD to review structural details, joint alignments, and design shop drawings.</p></li><li><p><strong>Stone Technology:</strong> Strong understanding of stone fixing methodologies, including dry mechanical cladding, anchoring systems, and wet fixes.</p></li><li><p><strong>Material Knowledge:</strong> Sound capability to judge marble types, natural variations, vein matching, structural cracks, and finishes. </p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Operational & Mathematical Skills</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Estimation Skills:</strong> Proven capability to perform highly accurate material take-offs and manage bills of quantities (BOQ).</p></li><li><p><strong>Optimization Mentality:</strong> Deep expertise in calculating precise stone "cutting lists" to maximize slab usage and reduce expensive waste.</p></li><li><p><strong>Site Management:</strong> Experience managing site subcontractors, installation labor, factory fabricators, and delivery logistics.</p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Behavioral & Soft Skills</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Aesthetic Eye:</strong> Exceptional attention to detail regarding color shading, tone consistency, and visual symmetry in luxury fit-outs.</p></li><li><p><strong>Problem Solving:</strong> Quick ability to resolve structural discrepancies between theoretical architectural designs and real physical site conditions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Communication:</strong> Effective coordination skills to bridge communication between project architects, factory managers, and client representatives. </p></li></ul>
