Set up, operate and strike AV equipment for assemblies, productions, performances, concerts, examinations and School events. Provide technical support to staff, students and external providers during events and performances. Support classroom and meeting room technology where required. Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and recommend replacement or upgrade requirements.<br><br><br>Performing Arts & Productions<br><br>Take lead responsibility for the operation, programming and maintenance of theatrical lighting systems, sound systems and production technology used across the School. Design, programme and operate lighting and sound for major School productions, concerts, dance shows and musical theatre performances. Support the technical requirements of large-scale productions, including those involving live orchestras, multiple performance spaces and external performers. Work alongside the Director of Performing Arts, Music and Drama teams to develop technical production plans and ensure professional standards are maintained. Manage rehearsals, technical rehearsals and performance runs from a sound, lighting and stage management perspective. Maintain all theatre, auditorium and performing arts technical equipment, ensuring operational readiness throughout the academic year. Support recording, livestreaming and multimedia requirements for performances and School events.<br><br><br>Events & Community Engagement<br><br>Provide AV support for parent events, open days, graduations, conferences and community events. Support marketing and communications teams with audio, visual and recording requirements. Assist with livestreaming, recording and broadcasting of School events where required.<br><br><br>Health & Safety<br><br>Ensure all AV and production equipment is operated safely and in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations. Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any defects. Maintain safe working practices in performance spaces, theatres and event venues.<br><br><br>General<br><br>Support the wider Operations and Performing Arts teams as required. Participate in School events outside of normal working hours where operationally required. Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures and equipment guides to support continuity of service. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as reasonably requested by the School.<br><br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Minimum Educational Qualifications Required for the Role<br><br>Diploma, Degree or Professional Qualification in Audio Visual Technology, Sound Engineering, Technical Theatre, Event Production, Media Technology or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.<br><br><br>Minimum Years Of Experience Required<br><br>3-5 years' experience in an Audio Visual, Technical Theatre, Production, Events or Performing Arts support role.<br><br><br>Nature Of Relevant Experience Required<br><br>Experience working with professional audio-visual, sound and lighting equipment. Experience supporting live events, concerts, theatrical productions and musical performances. Experience programming and operating stage lighting systems. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Deliver theoretical and practical training in CIDESCO and/or CIBTAC Beauty Therapy programs.</p></li><li><p>Prepare lesson plans, presentations, course materials, and practical demonstrations in accordance with international standards.</p></li><li><p>Train students in facial treatments, skincare, anatomy and physiology, body treatments, waxing, manicure, pedicure, makeup, and other beauty therapy modules.</p></li><li><p>Conduct practical and theoretical assessments and provide constructive feedback.</p></li><li><p>Monitor student attendance, progress, and academic performance.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and student documentation.</p></li><li><p>Prepare students for internal and international examinations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with institutional policies, international curriculum standards, and health and safety regulations.</p></li><li><p>Stay updated with the latest beauty therapy techniques, products, and industry trends.</p></li><li><p>Support students in developing professional skills and achieving successful certification outcomes.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>CIDESCO and/or CIBTAC Diploma (mandatory).</p></li><li><p>Minimum 1 year of experience as a Beauty Therapy Trainer or Educator.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of international beauty therapy standards and examination requirements.</p></li><li><p>Excellent theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in beauty therapy.</p></li><li><p>Outstanding communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to motivate, mentor, and guide students throughout their learning journey.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and documentation skills.</p></li><li><p>Professional appearance and commitment to academic excellence.</p></li><li><p>UAE experience in a beauty academy or training institute is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Immediate joiners will be preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
