<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Medical Oncologist to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical oncology care, diagnose and manage patients with various types of cancer, develop individualized treatment plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Develop individualized cancer treatment plans based on diagnosis, staging, clinical condition, and current treatment guidelines. Administer and supervise systemic anticancer treatments, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy where appropriate. Monitor patients during treatment and manage treatment-related adverse effects and complications. Review and interpret pathology reports, molecular studies, laboratory investigations, and relevant imaging. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists. Provide cancer screening, risk assessment, preventive counseling, and survivorship care where applicable. Manage oncological emergencies and coordinate urgent care when required. Provide appropriate supportive and palliative care in collaboration with the relevant teams. Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, side effects, and follow-up. Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and Continuing Medical Education (CME). Ensure compliance with healthcare authority regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols. Qualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. MD / DNB / DM / MRCP / FRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology . Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist Medical Oncologist. Strong experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cancers. Experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and systemic cancer treatment. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills. Ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered oncology care. </div>

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> The role is responsible to independently conduct all laboratory procedures or under the supervision of seniors following operational rules and procedures   Responsibilities: Managerial   Supervising junior staff and ensuring their abidance to going rules and policies as applied and implemented in the Section/Department/Facility (as per requirement) Maintaining sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties Reporting shortage of materials to supervisor at earliest convenience, ordering and approving replenishments when necessary Technical   Conducting analysis of specimens to determine presence of normal and abnormal components Ensuring data capture of lab results onto  computer systems Operating, calibrates and maintains lab equipment Providing results to physicians as per defined SOP Evaluating collected laboratory data and prepare reports as per protocol Ensuring that equipment is used in the correct manner to obtain optimum results and informs Supervisor of equipment malfunction. A healthcare facility in the UAE is looking for a qualified, skilled, and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join its team. The ideal candidate should have strong laboratory knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform diagnostic tests accurately while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and patient care. Collect, receive, identify, label, and properly handle patient specimens. Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures according to established protocols. This is an opportunity for an experienced Medical Oncologist to work within a modern hospital environment providing comprehensive cancer care to a diverse international patient population. The successful physician will work as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team alongside surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, haematologists, palliative care specialists, oncology nurses and other clinical professionals. The position offers exposure to a broad range of oncology cases and the opportunity to deliver evidence-based cancer treatment using modern systemic therapies. The Role The Medical Oncologist will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing management of patients with cancer. The role includes both outpatient oncology clinics and inpatient consultations, together with the assessment, prescribing and monitoring of systemic cancer treatments. You will contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making and support patients and their families throughout diagnosis, active treatment and follow-up. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, assess and manage patients with a range of malignant diseases, including solid tumours and selected haematological malignancies within your scope of practice. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and External Eye Disease to join our Ophthalmology Department in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of corneal and ocular surface disorders, with expertise in advanced corneal assessment, medical management and, where within clinical privileges, corneal surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide consultant-level assessment and management of corneal and ocular surface disorders. Diagnose and manage:Keratoconus and corneal ectatic disorders Corneal infections and ulcers Corneal dystrophies and degenerations Dry eye and ocular surface disease Corneal inflammation and inflammatory disorders Corneal trauma and chemical injuries Corneal scarring and opacity Ocular surface tumors and lesions Complications related to contact lens use Perform comprehensive corneal and anterior segment examinations. Interpret corneal topography/tomography, pachymetry and other relevant diagnostic investigations. Provide appropriate medical and procedural treatment for corneal and ocular surface disease. Manage complex corneal cases and determine indications for surgical intervention or corneal transplantation. Perform corneal procedures and surgery according to clinical privileges and expertise. Collaborate with corneal transplant services, refractive surgery, glaucoma, retina and other ophthalmology subspecialties. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings. Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives. Participate in teaching, training and supervision of residents and junior ophthalmologists. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and External Eye Disease to join our Ophthalmology Department in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of corneal and ocular surface disorders, with expertise in advanced corneal assessment, medical management and, where within clinical privileges, corneal surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide consultant-level assessment and management of corneal and ocular surface disorders. Diagnose and manage:Keratoconus and corneal ectatic disorders Corneal infections and ulcers Corneal dystrophies and degenerations Dry eye and ocular surface disease Corneal inflammation and inflammatory disorders Corneal trauma and chemical injuries Corneal scarring and opacity Ocular surface tumors and lesions Complications related to contact lens use Perform comprehensive corneal and anterior segment examinations. Interpret corneal topography/tomography, pachymetry and other relevant diagnostic investigations. Provide appropriate medical and procedural treatment for corneal and ocular surface disease. Manage complex corneal cases and determine indications for surgical intervention or corneal transplantation. Perform corneal procedures and surgery according to clinical privileges and expertise. Collaborate with corneal transplant services, refractive surgery, glaucoma, retina and other ophthalmology subspecialties. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings. Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives. Participate in teaching, training and supervision of residents and junior ophthalmologists. Qualifications Medical degree from a recognized medical school. Completed recognized postgraduate training in Ophthalmology. Recognized Board Certification/Specialist or Consultant qualification in Ophthalmology. Fellowship or advanced formal training in Cornea & External Eye Disease is highly desirable. Valid Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi Consultant license/eligibility in Ophthalmology. Required Experience Significant post-specialist experience as a Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist. Demonstrated expertise in Cornea and External Eye Disease. Strong experience diagnosing and managing complex corneal and ocular surface conditions. Experience with corneal imaging and advanced diagnostic techniques. Experience in a tertiary ophthalmology center is highly desirable.
