Roles and Responsibility •Coordinate utility protection, diversion, and reinstatement works within RTA road corridors. • Ensure compliance with RTA utility corridor layouts, depth clearances, and reinstatement standards. • Interface with traffic management and staging plans to maintain safe utility works near live roads. • Support RTA inspections and audits related to MEP and utility installation • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical proposals related to MEP and utility services in compliance with project specifications and authority requirements. • Ensure all MEP and utility installations are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, RTA standards, and local authority regulations (DEWA, Etisalat, DU, Dubai Municipality, etc.). • Coordinate with utility authorities for NOCs, service diversions, connections, shutdowns, and inspections. • Manage interface coordination between utilities, civil, structural, roadworks, and traffic diversion works to avoid clashes and delays. • Monitor contractor performance to ensure quality, safety, and progress targets are met. • Conduct site inspections, issue site instructions, NCRs, and observations, and ensure timely corrective actions. • Verify testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems, including pressure testing, flushing, energization, and final authority approvals. • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, particularly during live utility works, trenching, and tie-in activities. • Review and certify utility-related WIRs, test results, and inspection records prior to approvals. • Track long-lead MEP items, authority approvals, and material deliveries to mitigate schedule risks. • Attend progress, technical, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities. • Review and validate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation for utilities and MEP systems. • Support project close-out by ensuring final utility connections, authority clearances, and completion certificates are obtained. • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and inspectors. Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual, FEED, studies, and detail design drawings of high technical quality and professional consistent The candidate will ensure that all technical and project documents are properly controlled, updated, distributed, and archived in line with company and project requirements. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Perform steady-state and transient flow assurance analyses for oil, gas, condensate, and multiphase pipeline systems.</li> <li>Conduct hydraulic simulations and evaluate pressure drop, temperature profiles, slugging, erosion, and liquid accumulation.</li> <li>Perform flow assurance studies including hydrate formation, wax deposition, asphaltene precipitation, scale prediction, and corrosion assessment.</li> <li>Develop operating envelopes and recommend mitigation strategies such as insulation, chemical injection, pigging, heating, and operational procedures.</li> <li>Prepare and review flow assurance calculations, technical reports, design basis documents, and engineering deliverables.</li> <li>Support pipeline sizing, equipment selection, and process optimization during FEED and Detailed Design.</li> <li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure flow assurance requirements are incorporated into the overall design.</li> <li>Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, model reviews, and technical discussions with clients.</li> <li>Review vendor documents and provide technical inputs related to flow assurance and pipeline hydraulics.</li> <li>Ensure engineering activities comply with ADNOC specifications, international codes, and industry best practices.</li> </ul> KEY QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.</li> <li>Minimum 8–12 years of experience in flow assurance engineering for Oil & Gas projects.</li> <li>Proven experience on ADNOC Onshore projects is mandatory.</li> <li>Strong experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.</li> <li>Proficiency in flow assurance software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPEPHASE, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and PVTsim.</li> <li>Good understanding of multiphase flow, thermodynamics, fluid properties, pipeline hydraulics, and production system behavior.</li> <li>Familiarity with international standards including API, ASME, ISO, and ADNOC engineering specifications.</li> <li>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.</li> </ul> VERTICAL ENGINEERING </div>

Procurement Manager - Interior Fit-Out / MEP / Joinery Location: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 18,000 - 22,000 per month About the Role We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Procurement Manager to lead and develop our procurement function while supporting the successful delivery of multiple high-profile interior fit-out projects across the UAE. This is a key leadership role within the business and is suited to a commercially astute, technically strong procurement professional with extensive UAE fit-out experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle across interior fit-out, joinery, MEP, FF&E, and specialist packages, while leading a small procurement team and remaining actively involved in day-to-day procurement activities. Unlike a purely managerial position, this role requires a proactive individual who can personally manage critical procurement packages, negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, drive value engineering initiatives, and ensure procurement strategies support project delivery, program requirements, and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Procurement Leadership & Team Management Lead and manage the procurement department, initially overseeing a team of two. Develop procurement processes, systems, reporting structures, and accountability measures. Mentor, support, and develop procurement team members as the business grows. Drive a culture of commercial awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement. Project Procurement Management Manage procurement activities across multiple live fit-out projects simultaneously. Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, procurement schedules, and material requirements upon project award. Develop and maintain procurement schedules, long-lead item trackers, subcontractor award schedules, and material procurement logs. Ensure procurement activities align with project programs and delivery milestones. Identify procurement risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Supplier & Subcontractor Management Source, evaluate, negotiate, and appoint suppliers and subcontractors for fit-out, joinery, MEP, and specialist packages. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors across the UAE. Assess supplier capability, capacity, financial stability, and performance before award. Maintain and continuously improve approved supplier and subcontractor databases. Commercial & Technical Procurement Personally manage high-value, technically complex, urgent, or program -critical procurement packages. Issue enquiries, evaluate quotations, conduct commercial and technical comparisons, negotiate pricing, and finalize awards. Benchmark supplier and subcontractor pricing against current market rates to protect project margins. Negotiate payment terms, warranties, delivery commitments, after-sales support, and contractual obligations. Identify and implement value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or compliance. Technical Compliance & Coordination Review technical submittals, samples, datasheets, and compliance documentation. Ensure all procurement packages comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and client expectations. Challenge specifications where appropriate and propose alternative materials, suppliers, or solutions. Coordinate closely with Project Management, Commercial, Design, Planning, Site, and Finance teams to ensure procurement priorities are achieved. Reporting & Process Improvement Provide regular procurement reports to senior management covering procurement status, risks, savings, delays, and vendor performance. Support tendering activities by providing current market intelligence, supplier quotations, subcontractor pricing, and value engineering options. Reduce uncontrolled buying, last-minute sourcing, and procurement-related project delays. Required Experience Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably within the UAE construction and fit-out industry. Significant experience in interior fit-out procurement within the UAE market. Previous experience as a Procurement Manager, Senior Procurement Manager, Procurement Lead, or similar role. Demonstrated experience managing procurement across multiple fast-track projects simultaneously. Experience leading and developing procurement teams. Strong hands-on procurement experience with direct involvement in sourcing, negotiation, and package award processes. UAE experience is mandatory.
