What you'll be doing

We are looking for a skilled Front-End (React.js) Developer to join our e-commerce web team. You'll build and maintain the customer-facing storefront for a luxury retail platform serving multiple countries and languages across the GCC. Day-to-day, you'll develop user-interface components with React and Next.js, integrate them with our GraphQL commerce APIs, and profile and improve front-end performance.

To succeed in this role you should have strong JavaScript and React fundamentals, hands-on Next.js experience, and a solid grasp of building responsive, high-performance, accessible web applications. You should be equally comfortable with both Next.js routing architectures — the Pages Router and the App Router — as well as working against GraphQL APIs, building components within a design system, and writing tests. Ultimately, a top front-end developer here designs and builds polished, fast, internationalized UI that scales across regions and devices.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product, design, and back-end teams to turn requirements and UI designs into working features.

Review application requirements and interface designs, surfacing edge cases and accessibility considerations early.

Build highly responsive, reusable UI components with React and our Tailwind CSS design system.

Integrate the UI with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client against our headless commerce backend.

Implement internationalized, RTL-ready interfaces (English/Arabic) across multiple country storefronts.

Write application logic in JavaScript following React and Next.js patterns across both the Pages Router (our current architecture — SSR/SSG/ISR via getServerSideProps / getStaticProps) and the App Router (React Server Components, nested layouts, server/client components).

Contribute to our gradual migration toward the App Router, ensuring Pages Router and App Router code coexist cleanly throughout the transition.

Troubleshoot and debug interface and application code across browsers and devices.

Contribute to and extend the front-end architecture and shared component library, documented in Storybook.

Monitor and improve front-end performance and Core Web Vitals.

Write and maintain tests: unit/component tests with Jest and React Testing Library, E2E/regression tests with Cypress, and catch visual regressions with Storybook and Chromatic.

Participate in code reviews and uphold code quality through ESLint, Prettier, and CI checks.

What you’ll need to succeed

Proven experience working as a React.js / front-end developer.

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and modern front-end tooling.

Hands-on experience with the Next.js framework, comfortable working in both the Pages Router and the App Router (a must) — including SSR, SSG, and ISR data fetching and React Server Components.

Strong experience with Tailwind CSS (a must).

Experience consuming GraphQL APIs, ideally with Apollo Client.

Previous experience creating or maintaining a design system / shared component library.

Experience with component-driven development and Storybook.

Experience with automated testing — unit/component (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E (Cypress).

Familiarity with UI and visual regression testing practices.

Experience with browser-based debugging and performance/profiling tools (e.g. Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse).

Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.

Good understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility (accessibility).

Excellent troubleshooting skills, plus good collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.

Nice to have:

Experience migrating a Next.js codebase from the Pages Router to the App Router.

Experience with internationalization (i18n) and building RTL (Arabic) interfaces.

Experience in e-commerce / headless commerce (e.g. Magento) and integrating payment providers (e.g. Adyen, Checkout.com).

Familiarity with feature flags / A/B testing tools (e.g. GrowthBook).

Familiarity with TypeScript.

Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (Bitbucket Pipelines or similar).

Familiarity with React state/data patterns (Context API, Apollo cache) and form libraries (React Hook Form).

This is a commercially accountable role: success is measured through brand growth, usable content, customer acquisition and profitable revenue - not simply products gifted or influencers contacted.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage the global influencer and partnerships strategy across golf, padel, fishing, snow and lifestyle. • Identify and recruit relevant influencers, athletes, celebrities, clubs, events and organisations. • Build a balanced network of established names, emerging creators and high-performing micro-influencers. • Manage inbound opportunities and proactively recruit new creators and partners. • Negotiate fees, gifting, commissions, deliverables, exclusivity and content-usage rights. • Create clear campaign briefs and manage activity from outreach through to final delivery. • Ensure contracted content is delivered on time and meets the agreed standard. • Build and manage the affiliate programme, including links, codes, commissions and tracking. • Track revenue, acquisition cost, engagement, content value and return on investment. • Develop long-term ambassador relationships with the strongest performers. • End or renegotiate partnerships that fail to deliver sufficient value. • Secure rights to use creator content across advertising, social media, email and the website. • Work with Performance Marketing to identify creator content suitable for paid advertising. • Coordinate collaborative shoots with the brand, content and social teams. • Develop partnerships with clubs, venues, resorts, events and sporting organisations. • Maintain accurate records of contacts, contracts, costs, rights, deliverables and results. • Manage the partnerships budget and produce weekly updates and monthly reports. • Ensure collaborations comply with applicable advertising and disclosure rules.
What We Are Looking For • At least four years experience in influencer marketing, partnerships, affiliates, talent management or a related role. • A proven record of delivering successful creator campaigns and measurable commercial results. • Strong commercial judgement and confidence negotiating contracts, fees and commissions. • Good understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Facebook and creator-led advertising. • Experience with affiliate platforms, discount codes and performance tracking. • Strong relationship-building, communication, organisation and attention to detail. • Confidence working with creators, athletes, celebrities, agents and commercial partners. • Ability to use data to assess performance and make firm decisions. • Fluent written and spoken English.
Desirable Experience • Sportswear, fashion, ecommerce or consumer-brand experience. • Relationships within golf, padel, fishing, skiing or sports media. • Experience managing international creator programmes and licensing content for paid media. • Knowledge of disclosure requirements in the UK, EU, United States and UAE.
What Success Looks Like • A growing network of relevant and commercially effective creators. • Clear growth in affiliate and creator-generated revenue. • Improved returns from gifting and paid partnerships. • A consistent supply of authentic content for organic and paid channels. • Accurate tracking of costs, content rights, deliverables and results. • Less money and product spent on partnerships that do not perform.
Key Performance Measures • Influencer and affiliate revenue; return on partnership investment; new customers and acquisition cost. • Content delivery rate, value of usable assets and paid-media performance of creator content. • Affiliate conversion, ambassador retention and product-gifting cost versus measurable return.
Personal Qualities • Commercially minded and results-driven. • Confident but professional when negotiating. • Naturally strong at building relationships. • Highly organised and comfortable holding partners accountable. • Protective of the Druids brand and its long-term reputation.
Why Join Druids? This is an opportunity to shape an important part of an ambitious international sportswear business. Based in Dubai, you will work alongside growing brand, creative, ecommerce and performance teams and influence how Druids reaches customers around the world.
