<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Job Purpose Perform preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance and testing of all electrical equipment’s in the plant to maintain the availability and reliability of the process facilities. Job Specific Accountabilities Maintenance •    Isolate and energize Low Voltage LV and High Voltage HV motors, UPS, transformers, generators and Other electrical circuits as per Company’s enabling certificate authorization, which includes carrying out the skilled electrical fault finding, diagnosis and troubleshooting of high and low voltage equipment.   •    Accept and complete the Electrical isolation confirmation certificate to ensure completion of activities. •    Identify and obtain spare parts and the necessary tools to meet maintenance requirements.  •    Carry out the routine, predictive and preventive maintenance checks on electrical equipment which includes visual inspection, to ensure that the equipment are in the most efficient operating condition.  •    Carry out new installations, modification and testing of equipment through various stages as per plan and in line with supervisor’s instructions and checks adherence to all parameters  •    Identify areas for improvement in the activities performed and assist the senior section personnel to carry out modifications and improvements to the system. •    Verify completed maintenance activities and complete the maintenance activity sheet / survey to ensure that the job is performed as per requirement. •    Complete necessary records in the system to provide work order failure history reporting. Lane Investments Group is incubating a new venture and is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial founding operator to help launch and scale the brand. ABOUT SORANO Sorano is a new European bathroom brand on a mission to elevate the most intimate and universal space in every home. We engineer our Sorano products for the requirements of Europe and the Middle East. We are launching in Spain and want to scale to other European countries. This is a founding team hire. You will help shape how Sorano shows up in the market, from showroom floors and architect specifications to wholesale partnerships, logistics and the next generation of products. THE ROLE We are looking for a builder. Someone early enough in their career to be hungry, but sharp enough to design the commercial and operational structure of a multi-country brand from scratch. You will own how Sorano is sold, moved and delivered, the trading flows, the supply chain, the distribution structure and the sales engine that sits on top of them. You will sit at the intersection of four disciplines: Business Development, Product Management, Logistics and Operations, and translate brand ambition into commercial reality on the ground. This role is uniquely positioned between our China supply chain, our Dubai (JAFZA) trading hub and our distribution channels across Europe and the GCC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Logistics, Supply Chain & Trading• Own the flow of goods from factory through logistics centres and into showroom and retail outlets: freight, inventory planning, last mile logistics partners and reverse logistics.• Negotiate and manage relationships with freight forwarders and third party logistics centres, and understand specific European technical requirements.• Build the forecasting, replenishment and SKU-level inventory discipline that supports a multi-country rollout.• Manage after-sales operations. Position Overview:The Professional Head – Railway Rolling Stock Fleet Maintenance (Locomotives & Wagons) provides strategic leadership, technical governance and comprehensive engineering assurance for freight rolling stock fleet, encompassing both locomotives and wagons. The role establishes and oversees maintenance strategies, engineering standards and operational readiness arrangements that maximise safety, reliability and availability, and leads lifecycle engineering management to ensure safe, reliable and efficient freight operations throughout the fleet's operational life. Acting as the Technical Authority for rolling stock, the position directs depot mobilisation, fleet acceptance, maintenance regime development and OEM support arrangements, and provides rolling stock assurance to the Operations Safety Case and regulatory authorisation. Prior to commercial operations, the role will focus on operational readiness activities in respect of fleet maintenance as determined by the Operational Readiness Plan. Responsibilities:Technical Authority and Fleet Engineering Governance:Act as the Professional Head (Technical Authority) for locomotives and wagons, owning fleet engineering standards, maintenance policies and assurance frameworks. Operational Readiness Management:Oversee the preparation and implementation of operational readiness strategies and plans related to fleet maintenance, including fleet acceptance, depot readiness and participation in testing & commissioning. Our Tier 1 Civil Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Lifting Supervisor to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE to work on a new mid rise residential project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Lifting Supervisor on large scale new build projects working with tower, mobile and crawler cranes and have worked with recognised main contractors in the UAE previously This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform rubber lining of the internal surfaces of tanks, vessels, pipes, valves, and other industrial equipment using approved rubber sheets and lining materials.</li><li>Prepare equipment surfaces for rubber lining through activities such as surface cleaning, scraping, grinding, sandblasting, and application of primers or bonding agents.</li><li>Accurately measure, cut, position, and apply rubber sheets to equipment surfaces in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.</li><li>Ensure proper bonding, jointing, overlapping, and seam formation to achieve a high-quality and durable rubber lining.</li><li>Operate and monitor equipment used for rubber lining and vulcanization processes.</li><li>Use compressed air, steam, autoclaves, or other approved methods as required for bonding and vulcanization of rubber linings.</li><li>Inspect completed rubber lining for defects such as air pockets, wrinkles, blisters, cracks, poor adhesion, and faulty seams.</li><li>Conduct spark/holiday testing and other inspection methods to identify pinholes, holes, or defects in the rubber lining.</li><li>Repair defective areas and rework rubber lining where required to meet quality standards.</li><li>Carry out rubber lining installation and repair work at customer or project sites when required.</li><li>Follow approved work procedures, quality requirements, safety regulations, and PPE requirements at all times.</li><li>Maintain proper care and handling of rubber sheets, adhesives, tools, and lining equipment to minimize material wastage.</li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.</li><li>Coordinate with supervisors, quality personnel, and other technicians to ensure work is completed within the required timelines.</li><li>Report any technical issues, material defects, equipment problems, or quality concerns to the supervisor.</li><li>Perform any other duties related to rubber lining operations as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceQualifications <ul><li>High School Certificate, Technical/Vocational Certificate, or equivalent.</li><li>Technical certification or training in Rubber Lining, Rubber Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.</li></ul>Experience <ul><li>Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in rubber lining operations, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing, tank, vessel, piping, valve, or similar environment.</li><li>Experience in both workshop and site-based rubber lining activities is preferred.</li></ul>Technical Skills <ul><li>Good technical knowledge of rubber lining processes and application techniques.</li><li>Hands-on experience in surface preparation, rubber sheet application, bonding, jointing, and vulcanization.</li><li>Knowledge of spark/holiday testing and identification of rubber lining defects.</li><li>Ability to operate rubber lining and vulcanization equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.</li><li>Good knowledge of industrial safety practices and PPE requirements.</li><li>Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments relevant to rubber lining work.</li></ul>Key Competencies <ul><li>Strong attention to detail and quality.</li><li>Good manual dexterity and workmanship.</li><li>Ability to identify and rectify lining defects.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Good time management and ability to meet production/project deadlines.</li><li>Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work.</li><li>Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments and confined spaces where required.</li></ul> </div>

The role will develop business, manage clients, prepare proposals, and coordinate projects from enquiry to completion, ensuring compliance with designs, standards, budgets, schedules, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop sales strategies for fire fighting systems, fire protection solutions, and related works. </li><li>Identify and pursue opportunities with consultants, contractors, developers, facility owners, government entities, and other stakeholders. </li><li>Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project partners. </li><li>Review enquiries, tenders, drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, quantities, and scopes. </li><li>Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, budgets, and estimates. </li><li>Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, engineering, and project teams on submissions. </li><li>Present solutions, technical proposals, value engineering options, and commercial terms. </li><li>Lead negotiations and support contract award and project mobilisation. </li><li>Manage awarded projects through planning, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. </li><li>Coordinate fire pumps, sprinklers, hose reels, wet and dry risers, hydrants, tanks, standpipes, suppression systems, and related equipment. </li><li>Monitor progress, budgets, resources, procurement, and commercial performance. </li><li>Coordinate with other disciplines to prevent clashes and maintain schedules. </li><li>Review shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, submittals, method statements, test plans, and technical documents. </li><li>Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, fire codes, and international standards. </li><li>Resolve technical, commercial, and site issues with project stakeholders. </li><li>Attend client, tender, progress, coordination, inspection, and site meetings. </li><li>Coordinate testing, commissioning, approvals, demonstrations, and handover. </li><li>Monitor variations, claims, orders, subcontractor performance, payments, and profitability. </li><li>Manage risks and implement actions to address delays and cost impacts. </li><li>Support close-out of snags, non-conformances, queries, defects, and commercial matters. </li><li>Maintain contracts, orders, inspections, certificates, approvals, as-built drawings, manuals, warranties, and handover records. </li><li>Prepare sales, operations, progress, revenue, forecast, and management reports. </li><li>Support quality, health and safety, environmental, document control, and company requirements. </li><li>Lead and coordinate sales, estimation, engineering, and project delivery personnel. </li><li>Improve sales, efficiency, customer satisfaction, delivery, and profitability. </li></ul>Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree, higher diploma, or technical qualification in Mechanical, Fire, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. </li><li>Relevant experience in sales, operations, project management, or business development within fire protection, fire fighting, MEP, or building services. </li><li>Proven experience in fire fighting and fire protection project sales and operations. </li><li>Knowledge of fire pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, risers, tanks, suppression systems, and related equipment. </li><li>Understanding of tendering, estimation, contracts, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. </li><li>Knowledge of fire codes, standards, authority requirements, manufacturer specifications, and health and safety regulations. </li><li>Ability to interpret drawings, hydraulic calculations, specifications, quantities, contracts, and schedules. </li><li>Ability to generate sales, manage pipelines, negotiate terms, and meet revenue and profit targets. </li><li>Experience managing clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and estimating, CRM, ERP, or project management systems. </li><li>Strong commercial, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organisational skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently. </li><li>Strong accuracy, accountability, customer focus, and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. </li></ul> </div>
