JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE Provide advanced technical expertise, supervision, and quality control for all scaffolding, insulation, and painting (SIP) activities across company facilities. Ensure safe execution, compliance with international standards, and support maintenance, shutdowns, and project activities to maintain plant integrity and reliability. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Scaffolding Activities • Supervise erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds in accordance with company HSE standards and international codes (e.g., BS EN, OSHA). • Review scaffold design drawings and ensure proper load capacity and tagging system. • Conduct inspections and certify scaffolds prior to use. • Ensure scaffolding supports maintenance, turnaround (TA), and project requirements. Insulation Works • Monitor installation and removal of thermal and cold insulation systems for piping, vessels, and equipment. • Ensure correct material selection (e.g., mineral wool, calcium silicate, PIR) in accordance with approved specifications and service requirements. • Verify compliance with specifications to prevent heat loss, condensation, and corrosion under insulation (CUI). • Coordinate insulation reinstatement post-maintenance to restore system integrity and operational efficiency.
