Role Purpose:The Construction Manager is responsible for leading and managing all on-site construction activities for large-scale building projects, ensuring successful delivery in line with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations. The role oversees site operations, construction teams, subcontractors, and resources while ensuring seamless coordination with engineering, commercial, planning, and client teams. The Construction Manager is accountable for driving construction excellence, maximizing productivity, mitigating project risks, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Construction Management:Lead all site construction activities from project mobilization through completion and handover. Develop and implement construction execution strategies and site logistics plans. Ensure construction activities are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. Monitor daily site operations and resolve construction challenges to maintain project progress. Coordinate all construction disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works. Project Execution:Oversee project execution in accordance with approved construction programs and milestones. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Technical Managers, Planning Engineers, Commercial Teams, and Consultants. Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and compliance with contractual obligations. Ensure timely availability of labor, materials, equipment, and resources. Site Coordination:Manage coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams. Conduct regular site coordination meetings and progress reviews. Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders. Resolve site-related technical and operational issues promptly. Planning & Progress Monitoring Monitor construction progress against the approved baseline schedule. Identify delays and implement corrective actions to recover project timelines. Support planning teams with look-ahead schedules and resource planning. Report project progress, risks, and mitigation measures to senior management. Quality Management:Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, and project standards. Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure timely rectification of non-conformances. Promote a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle. Health, Safety & Environment Ensure strict compliance with company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations. Promote a proactive safety culture across all site activities. Conduct regular site safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Support incident investigations and implement preventive measures. Commercial & Cost Control:Monitor construction costs and productivity. Support commercial teams in evaluating variations, claims, and change orders. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved construction methodologies. Review subcontractor progress and payment certifications. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary site representative with clients, consultants, and authorities. Attend project progress meetings and provide construction updates. Build strong working relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Team Leadership:Lead and mentor Construction Engineers, Site Engineers, General Foremen, Supervisors, and subcontractor teams. Drive accountability, collaboration, and high performance across site teams. Conduct performance reviews and support the development of engineering staff. Project Close-Out:Manage project completion, testing, inspections, snagging, and handover activities. Ensure all documentation is completed and handed over to the client. Support the defects liability period and project close-out process. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory). Master's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is an advantage. PMP certification is highly desirable. Membership of a recognized engineering institution is preferred. Experience:Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction. Minimum 7 years in a Construction Manager or Senior Site Management role. Proven experience delivering large-scale building projects in the UAE/GCC. Strong contractor-side experience is mandatory. Experience managing projects from mobilization through completion and handover. This is a contractor-side, site-based execution role. It is not an office-based management, documentation, planning-only, or consultant-supervision position. The selected candidate must treat the project as their own, maintain a strong daily presence across all active site areas, identify technical and workmanship problems proactively, and lead the site team until corrective actions are completed. The Construction Manager will report to and receive active support from the company’s Projects Manager. However, the candidate must be capable of controlling daily construction activities practically and independently. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of daily site execution from mobilization and substructure through superstructure, finishes, testing, completion, authority inspections, and final handover. Study the contract, drawings, specifications, BOQ, approved materials, authority requirements, and construction programme in detail. Identify drawing discrepancies, missing details, coordination conflicts, constructability problems, and technical risks before they affect site progress. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all joinery products, materials, and installation works comply with approved project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The role oversees quality inspections throughout the production and installation process, identifies non-conformities, and works closely with production and site teams to implement corrective actions, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities1. Incoming Material Inspection<ul><li>Inspect all incoming materials, including timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, fittings, adhesives, and accessories.</li><li>Verify materials against approved samples, specifications, purchase orders, and project requirements.</li><li>Identify non-conforming materials and coordinate with Procurement for replacement or corrective action.</li><li>Ensure only approved materials are released to production.</li></ul>2. Production Quality Control<ul><li>Monitor all stages of production, including cutting, machining, assembly, edge banding, polishing, painting, finishing, and packing.</li><li>Ensure workmanship, dimensional accuracy, and product quality comply with approved shop drawings and project specifications.</li><li>Conduct in-process inspections to identify and rectify quality issues before final production.</li><li>Verify compliance with approved mock-ups and client-approved samples.</li></ul>3. Final Product Inspection<ul><li>Perform final inspections of completed joinery items before dispatch.</li><li>Verify finishing quality, colour consistency, alignment, dimensions, fittings, accessories, labels, and overall appearance.</li><li>Ensure products are free from defects, scratches, damages, or workmanship issues.</li><li>Approve products for delivery only after meeting quality standards.</li></ul>4. Site Installation Quality Control<ul><li>Inspect installation works at project sites to ensure proper fixing, alignment, levelling, finishing, and coordination with other trades.</li><li>Verify installation complies with approved shop drawings and project specifications.</li><li>Conduct site quality inspections during various stages of installation.</li><li>Prepare snag lists and monitor completion of rectification works before handover.</li></ul>5. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions<ul><li>Identify quality defects, non-conformities, and workmanship issues.</li><li>Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.</li><li>Coordinate with production, site teams, and project managers to implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Verify effectiveness of corrective actions before closing NCRs.</li></ul>6. Documentation & Reporting<ul><li>Maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, snag lists, punch lists, and inspection records.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.</li><li>Maintain records of inspection approvals, corrective actions, and quality performance.</li><li>Ensure all quality documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.</li></ul>7. Quality Compliance<ul><li>Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, client requirements, and company quality standards.</li><li>Verify workmanship complies with applicable industry standards and best practices.</li><li>Support internal and external quality audits.</li><li>Promote continuous improvement in production and installation quality.</li></ul>8.
