Location: Jumeirah, Dubai, UAEAbout the Role Our client, a leading Business Setup & Corporate Services company in Dubai, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with a business setup firm and possess strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and accounting best practices. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all accounting transactions are recorded correctly. Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations. Support Corporate Tax compliance, documentation, and reporting. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and management reports as required. Coordinate with auditors and assist during internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. Maintain proper documentation and accounting records. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters. Support finance-related tasks as assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1–2 years of experience working in a Business Setup or Corporate Services company. Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, and Bank Reconciliations. Familiarity with accounting practices and FTA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Quick Books, Tally, Xero, or similar). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Good written and verbal communication skills.
