<ul><li>Carry out onboard / on-site inspection of marine and industrial boilers, including refinery, power plants and heavy industries (water tube, smoke tube, exhaust gas boilers and economizers, WHRB &HRSG), assess the condition of tubes, headers, drums, refractory, casing and mountings and identify the root cause of failures.</li><li>Determine the most effective repair solution (retubing, partial renewal, plugging, refractory repair, pressure part fabrication, etc.) and prepare a clear, costed work scope with material take-off, manpower plan and timeline.</li><li>Prepare and submit technical proposals, method statements, risk assessments and repair procedures in line with class society (DNV/ABS/LR), client and HSE requirements.</li><li>Independently lead the site execution team - supervisors, boiler makers, welders, fitters and subcontractors - ensuring quality of workmanship, welding/NDT compliance and adherence to schedule.</li><li>Plan and control project cost: track manpower, materials, consumables and subcontract spend against the estimate, control variations and protect project margin.</li><li>Prepare and maintain all project documentation: internal job orders, daily progress reports, inspection/measurement records, NDT and hydrotest reports, variation orders and final service/completion reports for client and class.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales & Estimation on scope clarifications and variation pricing and with Purchase on timely material and consumable availability.</li><li>Attend joint inspections with client representatives, class surveyors and port/refinery authorities; close out punch lists and secure final acceptance.</li><li>Enforce HSE compliance at site, including confined space entry, hot work permits and toolbox talks.</li><li>Support emergency/breakdown call-outs and ship repair mobilizations at short notice.</li></ul>Desired Candidate Profile<ul><li>B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). </li><li>Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in marine and/or industrial boiler repair, ship repair or pressure part fabrication and erection.</li><li>Sound knowledge of boiler construction, welding processes (SMAW/GTAW), tube expansion, NDT methods and hydrostatic testing.</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preparation of repair sketches and as-built drawings) is an added advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with class society rules and marine/industrial HSE standards.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and cost tracking; strong written and spoken English.</li></ul>

Project Planning Manager The Planning Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project schedules while ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate planning objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with project execution teams, resource coordinators, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope. Your Role As Project Planning Manager, you will have the following areas of accountabilities Project Scheduling & Planning Develop and maintain project baseline schedules covering all project phases from initiation through closeout. Establish, monitor, and manage key milestones, deliverables, and project timelines. Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction activities into the master project schedule. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules. Update and revise schedules based on project changes, progress updates, and scope modifications. Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions where necessary. Resource Management Forecast and monitor manpower, material, and equipment requirements. Ensure optimal resource allocation across project activities. Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams to prevent shortages and delays. Identify resource bottlenecks and escalate critical issues to project leadership. Risk Management & Project Controls Perform schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Implement contingency plans for critical activities and milestones. Monitor project risks and proactively identify potential delays. Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track project performance. Reporting & Documentation Prepare and present progress reports, S-curves, earned value reports, and schedule variance analyses. Provide regular updates to Project Directors and senior management on project performance and planning status. Maintain accurate records of scheduling updates, revisions, and change requests. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with company procedures, project controls standards, and industry best practices. Conduct periodic schedule audits to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement. Support quality initiatives to ensure project deliverables meet required standards. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop project planning and scheduling teams. Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for planners and schedulers. Drive performance management and continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function. What We’re Looking For Experience Minimum of 15 years of planning and scheduling experience. Minimum 3 years in a Planning Manager or similar leadership role. Extensive experience across multi-sector industries including: Oil & Gas, Civil Construction, Marine, Power, Industrial Plants & Operations Proven experience managing complex EPC project schedules from concept through execution and commissioning. Education and Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred. PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable. Skills and Competencies Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and project planning software. Expertise in: Project Controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM), Resource Planning & Allocation Schedule Risk Analysis Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
